The Ask the Experts Virtual Discussion Group brings together authorities in a particular field or topic to answer questions about the latest developments in scholarly communications. In our inaugural Ask the Experts event, we bring together a panel of data scientists to answer your questions about data science and publishing and what organizations should be doing now to prepare for a data-driven future.  

Similar in concept to a focus group but held virtually on an online platform, these events will allow attendees to steer the discussion, asking whatever questions they’d like of our panel of data experts. Attendees will also be able to continue the conversation online in the weeks immediately following the event. The discussion groups are a great opportunity to stay abreast of the latest issues in scholarly communications without traveling to an onsite meeting.

No refunds will be processed for virtual discussion groups. SSP encourages you to send a substitute in your place if you cannot attend and the discussion group is recorded and available to registered attendees for 60 days after the broadcast. SSP reserves the right to cancel any program. In the unlikely event of cancellations, we will refund your registration fee, however, SSP is not responsible for any costs, damages, or other expenses of any kind incurred by registrant. Speakers are subject to change without notice.
