All Annual Meeting activities will be held at the Westin Boston Waterfront, 425 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02210 USA. SSP has secured a group rate of $289 for a single/double. The cut-off date for reservations is May 4, 2020. Due to uncertainties presented from COVID-19 developments, we recommend that attendees review purchasing travel insurance coverage for their flights as well as book within the conference hotel block, or choose refundable room rates when booking lodging outside the room block. 

Beware of Annual Meeting “Room Block Pirates!”

While many are working diligently to put together an incredible Annual Meeting experience for you, there are those that, unfortunately, try to benefit from your attendance in dishonest ways – namely, Room Block Pirates.

The typical room block piracy scenario begins with calls or emails from a third-party salesperson that lead you to believe the SSP room block is sold out or they can provide a comparable room at a much lower rate outside of the SSP room block.  If you book through this party you may find you end up with no sleeping room upon arrival, subpar accommodations and/or hefty cancellation fees.  While the salesperson doesn’t actually state their firm is officially sanctioned by SSP, the implied affiliation is strong.
