He has a deep knowledge of scholarly publishing, having worked in the industry for over 18 years in product and publisher roles for leading commercial and society houses including, most recently, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (Science Magazine), SAGE Publications, the American Psychological Association, and Lippincott Williams and Wilkins.
Katherine Eisenberg, M.D., Sr. Director - Medical, EBSCO Clinical Decision, reflecting on the changes that have occurred with end-users as Gen AI has been introduced with physicians and end-users.
Katherine Eisenberg, MD, PhD, FAAFP is Senior Medical Director of the DynaMed decisions team. She has served in a number of leadership roles at the University of Rochester and EBSCO, with an emphasis on innovation and health system transformation. Her experience includes designing and leading projects in value-based care, informatics, program evaluation, and clinical quality. She is passionate about developing cutting-edge decision support tools for patients and clinicians while incorporating health equity and public health principles.
Hong Zhou, Director of Intelligent Services Group & Head of AI R&D at Wiley, uncovering impacts on workflow, publishing systems and enhancing content.
Hong is the Director of Intelligent Services Group in Wiley Partner Solution and he drives AI roadmap and strategies and leads teams to design, develop and promote intelligent services/products and to enable automated, intelligent, and efficient research and publishing journeys by leveraging AI, big data, and cloud technologies. He also established and heads the AI R&D Team, which designs award-winning AI-based solutions and next-generation information discovery systems for scholarly research. Hong has recently been recognized as the Honorable Mention at the 2024 APE Award for Innovation in Scholarly Communication. He was appointed as a Chef of the Scholarly Kitchen in 2023. He is also co-chair of AI special interest group in ALPSP.
