The global pandemic has highlighted significant changes in scholarly publishing and its place in the greater global information ecosystem. Open access, preprints, and other aspects of scholarly communication have served to get us to where we are—both good and bad—in the fight as a global community to contain Covid-19. All participants—publishers, journal-owning societies, funders, authors, and researchers—across multiple disciplines, not just medicine, should be using this opportunity to reevaluate how our industry serves humanity’s needs, what works, and what needs to be done better.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

No refunds will be processed for webinars. SSP encourages you to send a substitute in your place if you cannot attend and the webinar is recorded and available to registered attendees for 60 days after the broadcast. SSP reserves the right to cancel any program. In the unlikely event of cancellations, we will refund your registration fee, however, SSP is not responsible for any costs, damages, or other expenses of any kind incurred by registrant. Speakers are subject to change without notice.
