How can journal and society publishers bring value to researchers and remain relevant in 2026? Start by knowing your audience.

Join this SSP webinar to hear from a panel of librarians across a range of academic institutions discussing the challenges and opportunities they currently face. During the hour, expect to step into the shoes of the community you serve, with key takeaways including:

  • Budget cuts, and how libraries are making do with less
  • How AI is affecting research and its role in the library
  • The benefits and challenges faced in the pursuit of open science
  • What we can all do to support peer review

Come to just listen, or get your own questions answered during the Q&A. Either way, you will walk away with a better understanding of how the evolving relationship between academic libraries and scholarly publishing fits into your 2026 plans.
